The Greater Pittsburgh legacy is one of industry and steel production, but its economy has changed in recent decades. The regional impact spans several sectors, including the nonprofit sector, with no foreseeable government intervention to address every last need. This report posits that the health of the nonprofit sector is integral to the region’s long-term well-being, and makes the case of interaction between and among nonprofit leaders and funders to bolster regional outcomes.
