Pittsburgh is a unique region for nonprofits, yet the capacity-building needs of its nonprofits often mirror those of nonprofits countrywide. With that in mind, The Forbes Funds aims to strengthen capacity of orgs while also informing national dialogue on the topic.
The Forbes Funds undertook this benchmarking project in order to assess how the cost of its expectations for strategic planning and business planning compared to those of funders and consultants throughout the country. The result is a brief that highlights benchmarks associated with more pronounced strategic plans and nonprofit operations.
