The Forbes Funds & Skilly are partnering to offer THREE LEVELS of artificial intelligence (AI) and strategic design cohorts.
These cohorts are designed to help nonprofit & for-profit organizations alike design innovative solutions to challenging problems with the support & assistance of CMU Professor and Skilly Founder, Adam Paulisick & The Forbes Funds team.

Cohort 1
AI-Assisted, Humanity-Centered, Strategic Design in a Box
This cohort is the smallest lift and most affordable for nonprofits of all sizes, and it is the most foundational - if you have not yet applied design thinking to how you could adopt AI, start here. Get access to and training on strategic design templates (both digital and downloadable) to solve complex problems faster. In this applied training with online learning resources, you’ll learn to choose the right method to solve the right problem at the right time. Hands-on exercises prepare nonprofit leaders to utilize new ways of thinking and designing solutions while also learning how to facilitate these methods within your organization, with partners, and with the populations you serve.
Cohort 2
Upskill/Reskill Capable Leaders to Become Even More Effective
Together, we are creating a purpose-built and internally-facing database of donor and funder questions that trains an AI assistant for your SPECIFIC organization to facilitate faster grant-making, better partnership discussions, and activates funders and donors in new and exciting ways. Sessions
would include mastering the BRIC mindset with other provocative and challenge-based methods. Learn how to persuade, influence, and utilize AI to maximize the impact of your stories and data to answer your toughest organizational questions.
Cohort 3
Hiring and Training your First AI Employee
Incubate and train your organization's first digital employee, an externally-facing, development assistant that happens to be an ethical and accountable AI. The AI learn about the
tone, culture, and voice of an organization and work to create additional capacity and organizational effectiveness when you don’t have the budget to hire a full (or even part-time) employee.
