Getting to know your legislator and local elected officials is an important aspect in advocating for the missions of your organization. Nonprofit organizations are uniquely positioned to communicate their community's needs to the politicians who write public policy and appropriate funds. We are offering an opportunity to learn how to make the most of legislative visits and meetings with elected officials. These meetings will be very important in the coming months as we approach another very difficult state budget process for 2017-2018. Join us the regional Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership to prepare for better communications with your local officials.
