Nonprofit leadership teams recognize their dependence on computer systems and software including the data these systems hold, but are they prepared for the potential liability and fallout if their information is stolen or lost? Claims alleging failure to safeguard personal information can have a detrimental impact on a nonprofit's reputation and the costs associated with these claims can be staggering.
Effective risk assessment and risk management can help your organization minimize the likelihood and severity of cyber-attacks and data breaches. In this session, we will discuss claim scenarios, risk management best practices, crisis management, insurance coverage and protections available to pay for a such a loss.
