This was of particular importance for assessing and forecasting the uptick in need for human services related to economic strain. The report includes information relates to wage stagnation, housing, and the unprecedented nature of service intakes in response to the Great Recession. Such documentation led to recommendations on short and long-term strategies to better assist nonprofits with their response to this event and others that may arrive in future circumstances.
